Sometimes without realizing consciously we figure out that it is important how we define our self. But of the same importance is the way that others perceive us.
Many would define us as that company that has a tree name, Cedru Prod, whose business is closely linked to the specialization in the production and the installation of wood joinery; the reason of choosing this name and the legend that stands behind it are less known.
Our sincere thoughts, simple and purified, were inspired by the legend of red cedar, from the time of the natives from North America on the Pacific Coast, which refers to the existence of a famous shaman, gracious and helpful, which served the purpose of giving people everything needed to live a quiet life. Great Spirit said that when the shaman dies, on his grave will grow a red cedar that will have the same uses that the shaman has had during his life. Thus, indigenous produced their clothing from the cedar’s bark, heat using branches from which they also built shelters and weapons for hunting, from its roots they’ve weave baskets for food transportation.
Defined in this manner its spiritual role, cedar is more than a simple tree, a simple essence of processed wood; is the supervisor of welfare, is the guide of life support.
Then and now, woodworking meant and means life support. The only difference is the tools used in its finishing. Switching from processing wood in a raw way to a fine one may only strengthen the fact that wood has always been a safe for life.
We respect the legend of red cedar, carved in our hearts, we believe in its strength and beauty.

Shy in its initial steps but with a vision and another kind of approach to the natural beauty of wood, Cedru Prod became, during its development, the reliable friend of essential potentionate, of modeling wood in a unique and perfectionist way, for what we call window, door or wooden profile accessory.
The first products that result from the hands with fine intervention of the wood styling masters were created in a place full of inspiration, in Remetea studio, location separated by only 8 km from the place where the company took birth, Beius, where starting with 2001, there began to grow a new wood processing network, equipped with the best utility in the field. Subsequently, the production has evolved and the need of developing an installation, mounting service, didn’t suffer delay.
Presently, the wood is smoothly and in detail processed on an area exceeding 11,000 square meters of
land, consisting in operating offices, warehouses, production halls and other related assets.
Because of the precision and dedication to quality, the company Cedru Prod was recognized in time, being rewarded with prizes (2001 - # 1 National Companies due to economic results), attestations and certificates (2006 - Quality Management System SR EN ISO 9001, technical approval of the Permanent Technical Council for Construction for the made joinery) and affection and respect from partners. Due to this fact was possible the national expansion, so that today, besides Beius headquarters, Bihor county, there are Cedru Prod showrooms both in the west of the country (Timisoara), in the central area (Cluj-Napoca) and capital (Bucuresti). It is an opportunity that gives people resistant and unique products, anywhere in the country, each time.
The resistance effort that stands in front of ordinary and standardization, the use of identity preservation space, the preservation of originality, the sophistication and accuracy in processing and assembling deep wood elements, only partially outlines the principles of our concerns.
The rooms that are covered, dressed with wood, become warm and familiar places, whether we talk about state institutions, historic buildings or private homes. Perhaps precisely because of this we dedicate entirely to wood embellish, because we know that it will reach places that need the character that it can provide. Wood enhances life and gives it the required purity.
It is unfair and selfish to think of a house as a product in indigo, as a faithful reproduction of another. It is equally unjust and selfish like the elements that shadow or light, heat or protect our home to distinguish with nothing from others. These would be perhaps the first of the reasons why we take care to achieve performance of unique, personalized wood joinery products with a stylish cut, unmistakable, according to the smallest details, with the most hidden aspects of the space in which they will be located, of the person who will enjoy them. And our approach does not deviate from the environment or community responsibility.
With the willingness of stumping the trivial, from the desire to generate joy, from the necessity to take care of life, Cedru Prod creates through its products a dynamic but elegant game using different essences of wood and different wood volumes to reach the finality of generating a special appearance in the atmosphere of the interior or exterior spaces.
It is not enough to say that capturing the moments that reflect happiness synthesize our goal. Nor that a set of policies and objectives to increase our company performance, maintaining and improving quality services and products, the development of relations with partners and a greater degree of appreciation from those who would trust us is our
mission future. Because we wouldn’t be honest and we would omit the foundation of our initiation.
As nature is an infinite source of survival, so represents the wood, which comes from it. And wood is situated on the basis of the components that masterfully form windows, doors and accessories that are a support for existence, offering us the needed protection in front of the vagaries of weather or indiscretion.
Cedru Prod is a kingdom of happiness, which brings smile into expression, which knows that besides the stylistic choices of our house, we instinctive wish a firmly, honestly and fully way of life.
After more than a decade of experience and training in the field we decided to move forward. After more than a decade of transition towards better, we realized that are still more needs to accomplish. Life is not stagnating; it’s evolving gradually and safely. And so do we.
We are heading to inspire reasoning with classical aspirations, deeply grounded and incorruptible, to those who need it in order to stylize their house with wood.
We live with the responsibility to protect the objects, feelings and creatures that are around us. We appreciate the gifts given by nature and that is why we are not alienating from the concept of ecology, which means more than replanting or recycling. It first means the awareness of the need to constantly make a contribution to revitalize and respect the environment and society we live in.
For over a decade, we take care of replanting each tree used for our achievements. Furthermore, each remnant is recycled, so nothing is thrown and none of the things that leave this company contribute to environmental degradation. We encourage our partners to have at least a similar vision, which in turn passes on to one, because only together we can create a better life.
A room marked by the beauty of exotic or aboriginal wood, invite us to experience nature with all the five senses which we celebrate every day.
The inventive way in which the wood is transformed into a finished product and placed in a space, not so the form but the sweet and relaxing atmosphere that it evolve, send our mind to infinite happiness.
The refined and tasteful treatment of wood, its processing, is based on wood species as spruce, pine, larch, oak, ash, poplar, linden, eucalyptus, meranti and teak, which join to others as special as them and on which are applied the most varied finishes: polished, classical, antique, opaque or greenhouse, aluminum or bronze plating. All of this is part of our assignments, depending on the wishes of our customers.
From these materials are made a wide variety of products, which range from windows and doors, and continue with gates and panels, cabinets and showcases, churches and an infinite number of accessories. All are enveloped in full service program, consisting from consulting, design, execution, delivery, installation and maintenance, available for both rehabilitation of historic buildings and private homes.
In our view, the elements with wood profile mean a relationship of empathy between landscape areas and the spaces from our home, a clear dialogue between man and habitat.
In our opinion, something done perfectly is not represented only by the image of the final product, but by all the production stages specific for that product.
Therefore, we pay a lot of attention to the activities we have going on, starting from the released order to the latest retouch. It is one of the strengths that brought us appreciation among those resorting to the complexity of products and services signed Cedru Prod.

The first stage of making a wood product consists in receiving the order from the customer (with the needed measurements took, which can be performed directly by the client or are based on a larger project) and by calculating the offer price, followed by the establishment of collaboration and of the characteristics of the product that is intended to be achieved. For example, if we are talking about a door we have to know what kind of wood essence to use, what is its shape, pattern and color, hardware, leaf number, type and direction of opening, if it is with or without glass, and other similar details, all determined in accordance with the stylistic demands of our customers. |

Depending on the size and complexity of the order, and just under an agreement established in advance, this step may be preceded by a visit from a Cedru Prod representative location of the project, to provide consultancy services. |

After an accurate assessment of the work, is established the deadline and the destination of the products, in the design office is established the execution command and the production schedule for products appearing in the contract to be signed, so that it can be due to the stipulated delivery time. |

In the production sections, the raw material goes through a complex manufacturing cycle, from drying the timber in our own hothouse (dryer), to various machining, after which it gains the final shape and size, so that in the finishing operations to achieve the color and the gloss desired by the client. The finished products are equipped with specific hardware for each product in part, according to the options of our customers. |

The products are then transported with our own means of conveyance to the recipient location, the mounting operations being performed by specialized teams in favorable weather, without precipitation and temperatures over - 10°C. |

After completing these processes, there are given post-operative services, maintenance, at the same quality standards as the entire project has been treated. |

The complexity of the products is in line with the approved European Standards, having a high thermal insulation U = 1.8 W / mpK wooden profile, namely 1.1 W / mpK for the glass composition.
The offered product warranty is 5 years old, and their components (wood profile, hardware, paints and glass) respect the quality standards under the European Union.
